This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The mostly ice-covered peak of elevation 600 m in Solvay Mountains on Brabant Island in the Palmer Archipelago. Situated 3.2 km E of Humann Point, 3 km SE of Zabel Point, 3.35 km W of Mount Aciar and 2.37 km NNW of Kondolov Peak. Steep and partly ice-free NE and W slopes. Surmounts Buragara Cove to the N, Rush Glacier to the NE and Dimkov Glacier to the S. British mapping in 1980 and 2008. Named after the settlement of Sheynovo in Southern Bulgaria.
