An ice-covered island 30.5km long northwest to southeast, lying 21km southwest of Cronenwett Island at the west end of Sulzberger Ice Shelf.

Named For

Mapped from surveys by the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) and U.S. Navy air photos (1959-65). Named for Lieutenant T.L. Kizer, U.S. Navy (USN), helicopter pilot on the USS 1962.
