This name originates from Australia. It is part of the Australian Antarctic Gazetteer.

Narrative

The name was suggested by Dr Grahame Budd as part of a descriptive sequence. A flat sandy beach on McDonald Island some 200 metres in length and enclosed on the landward side by high cliffs. It is the next beach south of Boulder Beach. NOTE:This feature disappeared after the 2003 eruption.
