The higher (northern) peak on a rock outcrop on the Ingrid Christensen Coast of Princess Elizabeth Land, about 4 km east of Mount Caroline Mikkelsen. It is about 140 m high. Plotted from Norwegian cartographers from air photographs taken by the Lars Christensen Expedition (1936-37) and with Young Peak called Tvillingfjell (Twin Mountains). The peak was fixed by triangulation from an astrofixed baseline by an ANARE party from Davis led by William Young in 1963.
Named after J. Holder, weather observer at Davis in 1963, a member of the field party.
