This name originates from Australia. It is part of the Australian Antarctic Gazetteer.
An eroded extinct volcanic crater on Cape Bidlingmaier, Heard Island, 120m high on the northern ridge. The eastern part of the crater has collapsed directly to the sea below. Named after the Tasmanian whaling ship Offley (Captain Robinson), which was sealing off the Island in 1859.
