This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The ice-covered peak of elevation 760 m in central Bowles Ridge, Livingston Island. Situated 400 m E of Ticha Peak, 1.98 km SW of Melnik Peak, and 1.25 km W of the summit of Asparuh Peak. Bulgarian topographic survey Tangra 2004/05. Named after the town of Petrich in Southwestern Bulgaria.
