This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The 1.77 km wide cove indenting for 700 m the S coast of Byers Peninsula, Livingston Island in the South Shetland Islands. Entered W of Sevar Point and E of Devils Point. Connected to Osogovo Bay to the NW by the 20 m wide passage of Hell Gates. British mapping in 1968, Spanish in 1992, and Bulgarian in 2005 and 2009. Named after the Thracian King Raskuporis, 48-42 BC.
