This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The ice-free, low point on the E side of the entrance to Raskuporis Cove on the S coast of Byers Peninsula, Livingston Island in the South Shetland Islands. Situated 1.9 km ESE of Devils Point, 2.71 km W of Nikopol Point, and 2.97 km NE of Long Rock in Morton Strait. British mapping in 1968, Spanish in 1992, and Bulgarian in 2005 and 2009. Named after Khan Sevar of Bulgaria, 738-754 AD.
