This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The point on the SW coast of Snow Island in the South Shetland Islands projecting 300 m into Boyd Strait and forming the N side of the entrance to Barutin Cove. Situated 2 km S of Esteverena Point and 2 km N of Monroe Point. Bulgarian mapping in 2009. Named after the Bulgarian ruling dynasty of Vokil (8th century).
