This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The beach extending 2 km on the NW coast of Ioannes Paulus II Peninsula on Livingston Island in the South Shetland Islands. Stretching both S and NE of Mercury Bluff, and facing San Telmo Island to the N by W. Snow-free in summer. Bulgarian mapping in 2009. Named after the Gerlovo region in Northeastern Bulgaria.
