This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.

Narrative

The 5 km long and 1.5 km wide glacier in Bangey Heights on the E side of north-central Sentinel Range in Ellsworth Mountains. Situated NE of Patleyna Glacier and NW of the head of Padala Glacier. Drains the N slopes of Golemani Peak, flows north-northwestwards between Oreshak Peak and Fucha Peak and joins Embree Glacier W of Mount Schmid. US mapping in 1961 and 1988. Named after the medieval settlement of Marsa in Southern Bulgaria.
