This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.

Narrative

The 7.5 km long and 5.7 km wide rocky ridge forming the SE extremity of Gromshin Heights on the E side of northern Sentinel Range in Ellsworth Mountains. Its southernmost height of 1150 m is situated 12.96 km E of Mount Warren, 9.68 km SE of Branishte Peak, and 11.3 km NE of Mount Lanning in Sostra Heights. Surmounting Rutford Ice Stream to the E and lower Vicha Glacier to the W. US mapping in 1961. Named after Foros Point on the Bulgarian Black Sea Coast.
