Narrative

A dome-shaped mountain lying north-west of Mts Howard and Bowen on the divide between David Glacier and Davis Glacier in Victoria Land. First charted by the BAE, 1907-09, which named it for Ernest Mill Joyce who was in charge of general stores, dogs, sledges, and zoological collections with this expedition, and who had earlier been with the NAE, 1901-04. Joyce was also with the Ross Sea Party, of Shackleton's Imperial Trans-Antarctic Expedition, 1914-17.
