A steep conical hill 1.5 km nearly due north of Oasis Station in the Bunger Hills. The hill rises from the point where two spurs meet, one trending north-west, the other due east. There is a line of cliffs to the south trending east-west. Charted by the Soviet Antarctic Expedition in 1956.

Visited by ANARE 1992-93 in a traverse from Mather Peninsula to Sapozhok Island and Cape Rybachiy. This promontory is important geologically as it preserves a shear zone that cuts the older gneisses."

A bay on the coast of Kemp Land between Law Promontory and Fold Island. Sir Douglas Mawson, BANZARE, applied the name to a sweep of the coast west of Cape Wilkins. Exploration by the William Scoresby Expedition (1936) and the Lars Christensen Expedition (1936-37) defined this section of the coast more accurately.
