A conical peak rising to 1,676 m above sea level, from the ridge which runs WSW from Mount Sundberg, in the northern part of the Aramis Range in the Prince Charles Mountains. Sighted in December, 1956, by the ANARE southern party led by William G. Bewsher.

Mapped by ANARE southern seismic party 1957-58 led by K.B. Mather. Named after the Rt. Hon. R.G. Menzies (later Sir Robert Menzies), Prime Minister of Australia, 1939-41 and 1949-66.
