A snow-covered ridge in the Goodspeed Nunataks, southern Prince Charles Mountains, about 9 km east of Skinner Nunatak. First sighted by an ANARE seismic traverse party in 1957. Photographed by ANARE in 1958 and 1960. Named after R.S. Noble, weather observer at Mawson in 1971, a member of the ANARE Prince Charles Mountains survey party in 1972.

Small sheltered island located in the north-western corner of Stephenson Lagoon underneath steep rocky slopes. The island is largely protected from the strong prevailing westerly winds that predominate at Heard Island.

A cove on Clark Peninsula, just south of the station area at Wilkes. The area was photographed by USN Operation Highjump (1946-47), ANARE (1956) and the Soviet Antarctic Expedition (1956). Included in a ground survey by C.R. Eklund in 1957. Named by USACAN after photographer's mate P.F. Noonan, USN a member of the Wilkes station party in 1957.

The largest island of the Colbeck Archipelago, near the coast of Mac.Robertson Land, about 3 km north of Stump Mountain. Mapped by Norwegian cartographers from our photographs taken by the Lars Christensen Expedition (1936-37) and called Teksla.

North Angle Lake is located at the western end of Mule Peninsula in the Vestfold Hills. It is close to South Angle Lake and is highly saline. It measures about 400 m by 150 m in size and is a number of metres below sea level. A large sandbar observable during summer from the air, crosses the centre of the lake. It should be considered meromictic.

The Masson Range is divided into three parts of which this is the northern. The Masson Range was discovered and named by BANZARE (1929-31) led by Sir Douglas Mawson. Mapped by Norwegian cartographers from air photographs taken by the Lars Christensen Expedition (1936-37) who called this part of the range Nordkammen (The North Crest).

A glacier descending from the ice-plateau of Queen Mary Land just south of Davis Peninsula. Discovered by the Western Base Party of AAE (1911-14). Named by Sir Douglas Mawson after Lord Northcliffe of London, a patron of the expedition.

Photographed by ANARE in 1958 and 1960. Named after I.R. Northcott, aircraft engineer with the ANARE Prince Charles Mountains survey parties in 1971 and 1972.

A triangular shaped lake in the North Masson Range which is permanently frozen and about 1.8 ha in area. It is 400 metres north of Rumdoodle Lake and 800 metres NNW of Rumdoodle Peak.

A rock in the sea about 3.5 km west of Cave Bay, Heard Island. The name Norvigian Rock appears in a Supplement to the first (1930) Edition of the Antarctic Pilot. The second (1948) Edition omits the accent. The spelling 'Norwegian' was adopted on chart AUS 08 and approved.
