Description : In November of 2000, EarthWatch launched the QuickBird 1 satellite from Russia. QuickBird 1 failed to reach orbit. The Quickbird 2 (Quickbird) satellite was launched on 18 October 2001 by Digital Globe. It orbits at an altitude of 450km, in a 98-degree, sun- synchronous orbit.

Access Constraints : The distribution of DigitalGlobe imagery held by the AADC is restricted due to copyright.
