This voyage relieved Macquarie Island and collected King penguins from Lusitania Bay for Melbourne and Adelaide zoos. A provision hut at Lusitania Bay was constructed and provision depots at Ballast Bay and Starr's Gulch were established. Soundings of the south and west coasts were made.
