A stowaway was discovered soon after departure and was returned to the nearest port at Apollo Bay (or was it Lorne?). The passengers included the whole of the 1973 Davis Party, 14 members of the 1973 Mawson party and the Prince Charles Mountains summer party.... see Annual report 1972-73 for the rest of the report
