This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The ice-covered saddle of elevation 2100 m separating Sullivan Heights from Vinson Massif in Sentinel Range, Ellsworth Mountains. Situated 10.9 km NE of Mount Vinson, 8.51 km E of Mount Schinn, 1.74 km S of Mount Segers, 4.2 km NNW of Vanand Peak and 9.98 km WNW of Mount Waldron. Part of the glacial divide between Crosswell Glacier to the NW and Hinkley Glacier to the E. US mapping in 1988. Named after the settlement of Vranya in Southwestern Bulgaria.
