This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.

Narrative

The peak rising to 1200 m in the SE foothills of Detroit Plateau on Nordenskjöld Coast in Graham Land. Situated at the NNW extremity of a narrow 3.9 km long rocky ridge, 4.88 km SSW of Kavlak Peak, 8.02 km WSW of Mount Elliott, 9.77 km NE of Batkun Peak, and 24.63 km ESE of Baldwin Peak on Danco Coast. Surmounting Desudava Glacier to the N and E, and Boryana Glacier to the S. British mapping in 1978. Named after the settlement of Gusla in Northeastern Bulgaria.
