This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The rocky, mostly ice-free peak rising to 1300 m in the SE foothills of Detroit Plateau on Nordenskjöld Coast in Graham Land. Situated between Bombardier and Dinsmoor Glaciers, 11.28 km SW of Trave Peak, 6.16 km N of Mount Elliott, 7.17 km ENE of Kavlak Peak, and 29.87 km SE of Mount Ader in the border area between Davis Coast and Danco Coast. British mapping in 1978. Named after the Thracian god Darzalas.god Darzalas. Approved on December 6, 2010.
