This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.

Narrative

The flat ice-covered saddle of elevation over 750 m on Trinity Peninsula in Graham Land, part of the ice divide between Bransfield Strait and Prince Gustav Channel. Extending 5.3 km between Louis-Philippe Plateau to the N and Mount Canicula and Trakiya Heights to the S. Overlooking Russell West Glacier to the W and Russell East Glacier to the SE. German-British mapping in 1996. Named after the settlement of Verdikal in Western Bulgaria. Approved on December 6, 2010.
