This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.

Narrative

The ridge rising to 3100 m (Mount Waldron) in the NE foothills of Vinson Massif in Sentinel Range, Ellsworth Mountains. Bounded by Dater Glacier to the W and N, and its tributary Hansen Glacier to the SE. Extending 15.7 km in SW-NE direction and 6 km in SE-NW direction. Separated from Doyran Heights to the S by Manole Pass. US mapping in 1988. Named after the Eastern Balkan Mountains (old Bulgarian name Veregava).
