This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The ice-covered buttress rising to 1500 m on the SE side of Detroit Plateau on Nordenskjöld Coast in Graham Land. Situated between tributaries to Edgeworth Glacier, 5.74 WNW of Kopriva Peak, 6.92 km NNE of Trave Peak and 27.1 km S of Volov Peak on Davis Coast. Steep and partly ice-free W, S and E slopes. Named after the settlement of Paramun in Western Bulgaria.
