This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The ice-free point projecting 300 m from the S coast of Livingston Island in the South Shetland Islands. Situated at the E extremity of South Beaches 2.37 km NW of Amadok Point, 1.2 km SW of Clark Nunatak, and 1 km NE of Stackpole Rocks. British mapping in 1968, Spanish in 1992, and Bulgarian in 2005 and 2009. Named after the settlement of Rish in Eastern Bulgaria.
