The names Floating Island Tarn and its alternative, Floating Island Lake, have been in common usage for many years, and the former is used in "Subantarctic Macquarie Island: Environment and Biology", P.M.Selkirk, R.D.Seppelt & D.R.Selkirk, Cambridge University Press, 1990. |
