A steep rocky bluff, capped by a dome of ice, marking the northen entrance point of Tucker Inlet. It lies about 4 miles south-westward of Cape Cotter. Discovered and named by Ross on 15 January 1841 for Sir Charles Wheatstone, a noted English physicist and inventor of the electric telegraph.
