Narrative

The middle one of three neighbouring mountain peaks (the two others are 'Österreichspitze' and 'Steirerturm') at the summit of Sœtherrindane, Holtedahlfjella, Kurzegebirge, Orvinfjella, Fimbulheimen, Neuschwabenland, Dronning Maud Land. Very likely a first ascent on 2009-NOV-18 during a privately organized expedition, motivated by mountain climbing, nature studies and journalistic interests, called 1st Austrian Queen Maud Land Expedition 2009.

Named For

Named after Tyrol as a memento to the citizenship of two expedition members.
