The figures for all stations remained steady for much of the assessment period and below or near plant specifications of 30mg/ litre. Marked increases in suspended solids were recorded for a period at each station in the last few years, but levels have reduced again, to at or near plant specifications at Mawson and Davis.
Mawson 22 April '04 - Malcolm, the suspended solid for April is well within plant specifications. T.Bailey 22/4
Casey 22 April '04 - Tanya, the suspended solid for April as previously discussed is still quite high, but has come down from last month. I'm still a bit concerned about the sampling as the BOD is quite low in comparison. Let's wait and have a look at next month's results. T.Bailey 22/4
June 2004 - Suspended Solids results are well within plant specifications. Well done.......
Casey September 2004 - Hi Tanya, the SS is slightly above plant specs. With the BOD below plant specs this is not a worry at this stage. T.Bailey 7/10
Casey February 2005 - Hi Eve, nothing new to report this month. From your results, both the BOD and the SS are within plant specs indicating the plant is operating OK. T.Bailey 22/2
Mawson October 2005 - Hi Geoff, both BOD & SS continue to look good and are well below upper specs, indicating the plant is operating very well. T. Bailey 4/11
Mawson, January 2006 - Hi James, the suspended solids and BOD results for this month are well within the acceptable specifications for the plant. All seems well. A.McEldowney 30/1
Casey June 2006 - Hi Lloyd, the suspended solids and BOD are well within plant specs, as was the case last month as well. T. Bailey 21/6
Mawson, September 2006 - Hi Jim, BOD and suspended solids are still within plant specifications. A. McEldowney 11/9
Casey October 2008 - Hi Heleen, Once again the SS and BOD are continue to be well within required specifications, indicating the plant is operating well. T. Bailey 9/10/08
Casey, August 2009 - Hi Clive, BOD & SS are within plant specs indicating that the plant is operating well. T.Bailey 11/9
Casey July 2011 - Hi Kate, BOD and SS are again well within the sewage plants design specifications A.McEldowney
Casey August 2011 - Hi Kate, BOD and SS are looking good again this month. A.McEldowney
Casey September 2011 - Hi Kate, BOD and SS look good again this month. A.McEldowney
Mawson August 2011 - Hi Rich, the effluent SS is about twice the plant specification value which is unusual for this time of the year. Any reason you are aware of? Let's see what next months result looks like. A.McEldowney
