Other comments Built in 1962 at the Svenborg Skibsvaerft shipyards in Denmark, Nanok S reached the standard of the Finnish Ice Class 1A. The engineis a Mak. type MZV582Ak, single-acting, 10 cylinder, 4-stroke diesel. Auxiliary engines were 2 x 110kW 164 BHP diesel generator sets, 2 x 70 kW 108 BHP diesel generator sets. The engines had an output of 2000 BHP @ 300 rpm.
